This Honda Shop Manual (P/N 6194303) covers the 1981–1984 ATC 110 three-wheeler and its air-cooled, four-stroke engine. The August 1983 edition combines the base manual with the 1982, 1983 and 1984 addenda.

PB20A Carburetor and Lubrication

Carburetor repair covers the throttle valve, floats, float valve and jets, with separate standard and high-altitude settings. The high-altitude section warns that prolonged lower-altitude operation with those settings can overheat and damage the engine.

The Lubrication System diagram traces oil flow through the centrifugal oil filter and valve train. Maintenance covers filter-rotor and screen cleaning, lubricant specifications, fluid capacities, and spark-arrester carbon removal.

Clutch, Gearshift and Sub-Transmission

Clutch inspection includes disc thickness, plate warpage, springs, weights and the center guide, with Clutch Outer Holder 07923-0340000 specified. The Transmission Assembly exploded view shows shaft, gear, thrust-washer and snap-ring relationships.

Shift-fork and drum measurements accompany the transmission procedures. The sub-transmission section covers high/low gears, the idler shaft and bearing, and related drive-sprocket bushing checks.

Steering, Rear Axle and Drum Brake

Steering service identifies Pin Spanner 07702-0010000 and Ball Race Remover 07944-1150001. Rear-drive repair covers final driven sprocket dampers, axle bearings, internal-expanding brake shoes and brake-cam alignment.

Tire-removal cautions explain how improper bead breaking can damage the rim seal and cause an air leak. Rear-fender and exhaust-pipe removal are also covered.

CDI Tests, Wiring and Fault Isolation

The Engine Does Not Start or Is Hard to Start flowchart separates fuel-delivery, spark and compression checks, helping narrow a no-start complaint before repair. Other charts address power loss and poor running at low or high speeds.

Base-model, 1982 and 1983 wiring diagrams include switch-continuity charts, including Headlight Switch Continuity in the base diagram. Cable & Harness Routing drawings identify throttle, brake and electrical routing.

1982–1984 Changes That Affect Service

1982: The addendum updates throttle adjustment, foam-and-paper air-cleaner service, cable routing and switch wiring.

1983: Changes include the main-jet specification, low-range gear ratios and air-cleaner arrangement, plus rear brake drum-cover dust-seal replacement.

1984: Coverage adds the rear-hub adjusting-nut method for chain tension, fuel-strainer service and noise-emission-control information. Revised data include engine-oil capacity and separate torque specifications for the inner and outer rear brake drum nuts.

These addenda help match repair procedures and fastener specifications to the model year instead of applying the base instructions across every version.
