The Ducati 1199 Panigale was an update to the Ducati 1198 which was also the first motorcycle to receive the “Panigale” name for its superbikes, something for maintained until today. The 1199 Panigale has the same size engine as 1198, but with a different design (if the chain-driven cams didn't deliver it away), though it obtains roughly the same amount of power. But the 1199 Panigale has an all-new electronics package that delivers it trapping ABS and traction control as standard, as well as being one of the first production motorcycles with electronically adjustable suspension.
This maintenance schedule utilizes the 1199 Panigale, 1199 Panigale S (with the Öhlins suspension and the lighter Marchesini rims), and yes, even the 1199 Panigale R, despite the mitigated engine internals for more power – the maintenance is the same (assuming you ride it on streets powered by a 1198cc L-twin “Superquadro” engine that makes 145 kW (195 hp) and 133 Nm of torque (98 lb-ft). That's lighter than most 600cc bikes.
Most interestingly from a maintenance panorama, the Ducati 1199 Panigale utilizes gears and a chain to drive the cams, rather than areas like almost every other Ducati. The 899 Panigale parts this, too.
This scheduled maintenance chart is outlined for road use of the 1199 Panigale. If it is utilized on the track, even if not through sports competitions, all parts of the bike are more emphasized so the routine maintenance regulations must be carried out more generally than intimated.
