On a turbocharged engine mounted to a rollover stand, oil can migrate through a connected turbo oil line and into the intake, exhaust, or cylinders, creating a hydraulic-lock risk at restart. The manual also treats piston cooling orifices as critical components; a damaged, blocked, or missing orifice can harm the piston, pin, bushing, and liner and can affect engine oil pressure. Engine repair involves heavy lifting, pressurized fuel, and rotating test equipment, so the safety sections and the applicable machine manual should be followed before work begins.
