Yamaha states that these manuals were produced primarily for dealers and qualified mechanics and assumes a basic understanding of mechanical concepts and machine-repair procedures. Repair and Diagnostic Depth

The base manual goes well beyond scheduled maintenance. Engine chapters follow major jobs from removal through internal inspection and final assembly, supported by exploded views and component-specific tightening data. Chassis chapters do the same for wheel, axle, brake, steering, suspension, swingarm, and final-drive work.
