For bearing clearance, it directs the technician to the graded-bearing charts instead of filing, shimming, or scraping bearings or caps.
Before engine/transaxle removal or cooling-system repair, disconnect the battery, support the assembly with suitable equipment, and open the pressurized cooling system only after the engine is cool.
