- 534-page PDF set: Suzuki GSX-R750 Service Manual No. 99500-37120-03E — 471 pages; companion Suzuki GSX-R750 K4-K5 Parts Catalogue — 63 pages.
- Factory service coverage: procedures are identified for the GSX-R750K4 ('04 model) in E-02 U.K., E-03 U.S. except California, E-19 EU, E-24 Australia, E-28 Canada, and E-33 California configurations, plus the GSX-R750UF E-19. The service manual identifies K4; K5 appears on the separate parts catalogue.
- Engine repair depth: covers engine removal, full disassembly and reassembly, cylinder-head and valve service, camshaft and cam-chain timing work, clutch and transmission repair, crankshaft and connecting-rod inspection, bearing selection, and lubrication-system components.
- FI and fuel-system diagnosis: includes user/dealer self-diagnosis, C11–C49 fault isolation, fail-safe information, sensor and actuator circuit checks, fuel-pressure testing, pump and filter service, injector inspection, throttle-body repair, TPS/STP adjustment, and throttle synchronization.
- Chassis procedures: detail fork and rear-suspension teardown and setup, steering service, wheel and tire work, brake-caliper and master-cylinder overhaul, brake-fluid replacement, and drive-chain cutting and joining.
- Factory reference material: supplies regional wiring schematics, FI circuitry, cooling and lubrication diagrams, harness and hose-routing views, special-tool numbers, torque tables, service limits, electrical test data, and 62 numbered parts-illustration pages.
Workshop Coverage and Repair Depth
The 471-page service manual is organized into 12 groups covering general information, periodic maintenance, engine, FI diagnosis, fuel delivery and throttle body, exhaust, cooling and lubrication, chassis, electrical systems, servicing data, emissions, and wiring. It is written around the 749cc liquid-cooled DOHC inline-four used in the K4 machine. The maintenance section combines the interval chart for the air cleaner, spark plugs, engine oil and filter, coolant, brake fluid, hoses, and other scheduled items with procedures for valve-clearance inspection, throttle-valve synchronization, compression testing, oil-pressure checks, and E-33 evaporative-emissions service.
Component-removal tables identify which assemblies can be repaired with the engine still in the frame. The manual then covers powerplant removal, teardown, inspection, and reassembly. Its scope reaches camshafts, valves, guides and seats, cylinders, pistons and rings, clutch plates, transmission gears and shift forks, crankshaft and connecting rods, journal and thrust bearings, the oil pump, and pressure regulator. Bearing-selection tables, cam-timing views, sealant and lubricant callouts, and staged cylinder-head and crankcase tightening sequences support accurate assembly.
The FI section is built around fault isolation rather than generic theory. It provides customer-complaint analysis, self-diagnosis, reset information, a fail-safe table, malfunction-code conditions, and circuit tests for pressure, position, temperature, tip-over, secondary-throttle, injector, ignition, fuel-pump-relay, and PAIR-solenoid faults. Fuel-system repair includes pressure testing, pump and relay inspection, filter and mesh-screen service, injector testing, throttle-body disassembly and cleaning, fast-idle adjustment, and synchronization. The chapter explains factory injection control and compensation, but it is not an ECU flashing, programming, or remapping guide.
Chassis coverage includes fork-cartridge disassembly, oil-seal replacement, oil-level setting, steering and rear-suspension service, brake-caliper and master-cylinder overhaul, tire and wheel-bearing inspection, and drive-chain work. Electrical repair extends beyond schematics to charging-system diagnosis, starter and side-stand/ignition-interlock testing, ignition checks, combination-meter inspection, lamps, relays, switches, and maintenance-free battery service.
Diagrams, Tools, and Parts Catalog Scope
Named visual references include separate full-machine wiring diagrams for the E-03/E-24/E-28/E-33 and E-02/E-19 configurations, the FI System Wiring Diagram, Cooling Circuit, Engine Lubrication System Chart, Wiring Harness Routing, and PAIR System / E-33 EVAP hose-routing diagrams. ECM and sensor coupler-terminal references, troubleshooting charts, and cable, brake-hose, and fuel-system routing pages support fault tracing and correct reassembly.
The special-tool index identifies the 09900-25008 multi-circuit tester set, 09913-13121 vacuum balancer, 09922-22711 drive-chain cutting and joining tool set, 09940-52861 front-fork oil-seal installer, and 09900-28630 TPS test wire harness.
The companion 63-page K4-K5 file contains 62 numbered, microfiche-style illustration pages covering engine assemblies, fuel and electrical systems, frame and controls, bodywork, suspension, wheels, and brakes. These callout plates aid assembly identification, but they do not include a complete text listing of part numbers and quantities and do not replace the service manual's repair procedures.
The throttle-body chapter flags a damage risk at the fuel-delivery-pipe T-joint if it is twisted during installation. Chassis service notes also warn that harsh solvents can attack sealed-chain O-rings and that careless fork-seal installation can damage the oil-seal lip. Use the complete factory procedures and warnings when working on fuel, brakes, cooling, electrical, or rotating assemblies; the manual assumes suitable mechanical knowledge, equipment, and special tools.
