The Harley-Davidson Servi-Car was created in the early 1930s when Harley-Davidson needed to extend its model line to boost sales.
The Servi-Car was planned for the automobile repair industry to be pulled behind a car being shipped to a customer. After the car arrived at its destination, the driver must unhitch the Servi-Car and return to the workshop. As a result, it was available with a front-mounted tow bar. The Servi-Car was popular as a utility vehicle for small businesses and mobile vendors, in addition to its planned use for car distribution and retrieval.

They end up being especially well known with the police offices, some of which utilized Servi-Cars into the 1990s.

This 1947 model, has a huge steel box, which went on until 1966.
After 1966 the case was made of fiber-glass. The Servi-Car utilized varieties of Harley-Davidson's 45 cubic inch flathead. From 1932 to 36, the Servi-Car utilized the motor from the Solo R Model.

It was changed in 1937 to the motor utilized in the W model, which varied mostly in having a recycling oil framework rather than the steady misfortune arrangement of the "R". The "W" flathead motor proceeded until the finish of creation in 1973, notwithstanding the "W" solo arrangement being supplanted by the "K" Series in 1952.

It used the same transmission as R solo models when the Servi-Car was launched in 1932. Next year, this was substituted by three speeds and a reverse gear for a continuous mesh transmission.
By 1937, every wheel had a drum brake that improved the braking mechanism. This service station Harley-Davidson was well restored and original in 1947.
