Required Information for DMCA Notices

To be effective, your DMCA notice must include the following information:

1. Physical or Electronic Signature

A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

2. Identification of Copyrighted Work

Identification of the copyrighted work(s) claimed to have been infringed.

3. Identification of Infringing Material

Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material.

4. Contact Information

Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

5. Good Faith Statement

A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

6. Accuracy Statement

A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Our Response to DMCA Notices

Once we receive a valid DMCA notice, we will take appropriate action, which may include:

  • Removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material
  • Notifying the content provider of the takedown
  • Providing information about the counter-notice procedure
  • Terminating the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances

We aim to process all valid DMCA notices promptly, typically within 1-3 business days of receipt.
