The ZIP contains 73 printable PDFs totaling 4,714 pages, including the wiring volume’s 80 heading/caption-only pages and the supplementary two-page cabin-filter guide. An HTML index and readme are also included.
Engine Repair, VTM-4 and Electrical Diagnosis
These selected service topics outline the main repair areas; additional subjects include engine-mount control diagnosis and cruise-control input tests.

Internal engine work extends to camshaft inspection, valve and guide repair, valve-seat reconditioning, crankshaft and piston service, bearing selection, and oil-pump overhaul.
Cooling procedures cover radiator-cap and thermostat testing, water-pump replacement, radiator service, and fan-motor and control-circuit checks.
HDS Troubleshooting and Monitor Logic
The 2006 advanced-diagnostics volume contains 179 diagnostic entries covering 189 named DTCs, supported by 267 numbered figures. Monitor enable conditions, malfunction thresholds, MIL and freeze-frame behavior, and clearing logic help explain when a fault can set and whether a confirmation test has completed.
Sensor coverage includes MAP, IAT, ECT, throttle-position, A/F, and HO2S circuits. Other entries address fuel trim, misfire, catalyst monitoring, EVAP, EGR, electronic throttle control, transmission monitoring, VTEC, and F-CAN communication faults.

The brake troubleshooting section explains how incorrectly positioned upper and lower front-caliper pins can cause vibration and uneven or rapid pad wear. The transmission section warns that contamination left in the ATF cooler can cause repeat failure after a replacement or remanufactured transmission is installed.
VTM-4 control-unit replacement includes initialization needed for correct 4WD operation. Transmission service also covers ATF-cooler cleaning and shift-cable adjustment.
Engine removal, SRS work, brake/VSA service, pressurized fuel and power-steering diagnosis, and transmission cooler cleaning require the correct lifting, isolation, diagnostic, and protective equipment. Repairs beyond the user’s training or shop capability should be handled by a qualified technician.
Sample Valve Clearances and Head Inspection Limits
The separate specifications file brings engine, transmission, rear-differential, steering, suspension, brake, and air-conditioning standards and service limits together for comparison with inspection measurements.
The valve-adjustment section gives intake clearance as 0.20–0.24 mm and exhaust clearance as 0.28–0.32 mm; both apply with the cylinder head below 100°F (38°C).
The cylinder-head inspection table lists a warpage service limit of 0.05 mm, separately from the standard dimensions and clearances.
