  • A140E, A541E, and S51 drivetrain material covers automatic-transaxle operation, valve-body and on-vehicle repair, removal and installation, shift-lock and electronic diagnosis, plus S51 internal service, clutch hydraulics, pedal adjustment, and clutch-unit inspection.
  • Brake, steering, suspension, axle, body, and body-electrical repair spans single- and two-piston front calipers, rear drum and disc systems, ABS and parking-brake diagnosis, wheel alignment, drive shafts, power steering, doors, glass, sliding roof, restraints, and major electrical equipment.
  • R134a air-conditioning and dual-airbag SRS procedures document component removal, inspection, testing, reassembly, system troubleshooting, connector checks, and the related factory precautions.
  • A 307-page 1994 Camry electrical wiring manual supplies relay locations, harness routing, connector, splice, and ground locations, power-source current-flow charts, system circuits, service hints, and overall wiring diagrams.
  • Toyota Wire Harness Repair Manual RM1022E adds terminal and connector repair methods, waterproof and non-waterproof housing references, cross-section and housing-shape tables, part-number indexes, and repair-wire hardware data.

1994 Camry Coverage and Publication IDs

This is a multi-publication PDF collection, not one manual carrying a single publication number. The factory Camry repair and wiring material is specifically for the 1994 model year and identifies the applicable series as SXV10 and MCV10. The wiring book names the companion publications as 1994 Camry Repair Manual Volume 1, Pub. No. RM361U1, and Volume 2, Pub. No. RM361U2. A separate illustrated parts reference is labeled Toyota Camry 1992-96, but the factory procedures and wiring diagrams remain 1994-specific.

Separate Lexus archives are also present for the 1991 ES 250, 1993 ES 300, and 1997 ES 300, along with a 1993 ES 300 technical-training compilation. These are supplemental files and do not extend the stated 1994 Camry factory application.

Engine, Drivetrain, Chassis, and Body Repair

The 5S-FE and 1MZ-FE engine sections go well beyond tune-up data. They cover timing-belt repair, valve-clearance work, cylinder-head disassembly and inspection, engine removal and installation, cylinder-block service, MFI/SFI and emissions systems, cooling and lubrication repairs, and final operational checks. Diagnostic chapters provide DTC charts, fail-safe information, symptom matrices, ECM connector locations, terminal reference values, wiring diagrams, and circuit inspections for the covered engine configurations.

Drivetrain coverage separates the A140E, A541E, and S51 systems. The automatic-transaxle chapters document operation, valve-body service, on-vehicle repair, assembly removal and installation, shift-lock checks, electronic-control diagnosis, and confirmation testing. The S51 manual-transaxle section carries the repair farther into the unit, with input- and output-shaft work, synchronizers, shift and select mechanisms, differential service, bearing and seal installation, preload checks, and control-cable adjustment.

The clutch chapter covers hydraulic bleeding, pedal and release-point checks, master and release cylinder overhaul, clutch disc and flywheel inspection, release-bearing service, clutch cover installation, and diaphragm-spring alignment. Preparation pages identify Toyota SSTs such as clutch guide tool 09301-00210 and diaphragm spring aligner 09333-00013.

Chassis and body sections add master-cylinder and booster service, front and rear brake repair, proportioning-valve and LSPV work, ABS diagnosis, suspension and drive-shaft procedures for both engine applications, power-steering repair, glass and molding replacement, door and seat service, plus component testing for lighting, power windows, locks, mirrors, audio, and cruise control. Section-specific data covers torque specifications, clearances, wear and runout limits, adjustment values, electrical tests, and the required SSTs.

Camry Wiring and RM1022E Connector Reference

The Camry wiring manual is organized for fault tracing rather than simply presenting full-page schematics. It ties each circuit to relay locations, junction-block internals, harness-connector locations, splice points, grounds, and power distribution. Routing views distinguish sedan, coupe, and wagon bodies where applicable.

Particularly useful circuit sets include Engine Control (1MZ-FE), the separate 5S-FE A/T/California M/T and 5S-FE manual-transmission except California layouts, Electronically Controlled Transmission and A/T Indicator, ABS for TMC-made and TMM-made vehicles, SRS, and Air Conditioning with push-control or lever-control switches.

RM1022E is a separate 414-page Toyota-wide wire-harness repair reference. Its named sections include Table of Housing Cross Section, Table of Housing Shape, Housing Part Number List, and Table of Repair Wire, Terminal Packing, Hole Plug and Press Sleeve. The connector catalog alone comprises 12 pages of housing cross sections, 239 pages of housing-shape tables, and 64 pages of housing part-number indexes.

Circuit inspection, fuse and circuit-breaker checks, connector repair, terminal replacement, and special connector handling are also covered. Tool and material references include terminal-release SST 09991-00500, AMP crimping tool 169060, and silicon tape 08231-00045. RM1022E is not a Camry-specific pinout manual and does not replace the Camry wiring diagrams. It supplies the factory repair data needed to identify and restore connector and terminal hardware after the circuit fault has been isolated.

Scope Limits, Repair Cautions, and Page Count

The A140E and A541E sections do not contain a complete internal off-vehicle automatic-transaxle overhaul. They direct the technician to separate A140E/A541E repair manuals for that work.

The R134a A/C chapter warns that R12 O-rings, seals, and service equipment are not interchangeable with the covered system. The SRS material treats spiral-cable indexing and airbag orientation as damage- and deployment-sensitive work. Battery isolation, refrigerant precautions, brake safety, and the specified lift and support points remain essential during these repairs.

The collection contains 11,769 pages across the included PDF files. The Camry core accounts for 3,460 pages: 2,716 pages of repair-manual sections, 307 pages of wiring diagrams, 414 pages of wire-harness repair, and a 23-page parts reference. The separate Lexus archives add 8,309 pages: 662 pages for the 1991 ES 250, 2,709 pages for the 1993 ES 300, 1,969 pages of 1993 technical training, and 2,969 pages for the 1997 ES 300.
