Repair Cautions and Document Limits
Fork work has several manual-specific traps: overclamping the outer tube or axle holder can damage the part and affect handling, while removing the inner-rod locknut can damage the damper-rod oil seal. Rear suspension linkage bolts must be installed in the specified orientation; incorrect assembly can restrict suspension movement and damage the linkage. Rear brake-hose routing also matters because insufficient clearance at the spring can damage the hose.
The technical scope is the carbureted FCR40MX/CDI machine; it does not contain fuel-injection diagnosis or ECU programming.
