Toyota Manual Features & Content Preview
Built from six Toyota factory repair-manual PDFs issued between September 1999 and April 2003, this 3,748-page set covers a broad cross-section of Toyota 7-Series electric and internal-combustion forklifts—not only the 7FB10–7FBJ35 family. It is suited to experienced lift-truck technicians and properly equipped repair shops because the procedures assume electrical test equipment, hydraulic gauges, lifting and support equipment, and Toyota special service tools.
-
7FB electric coverage: 7FB10, 7FBH10, 7FB14, 7FBH14, 7FB15, 7FBH15, 40-7FB15, 7FB18, 7FBH18, 7FB20, 7FBH20, 40-7FB20, 7FB25, 7FBH25, 40-7FB25, 7FB30, and 7FBJ35. The manual provides model-specific battery-compartment dimensions, required battery weights, on-vehicle and off-vehicle charger service, and AC Micon controller data.
-
Cushion and three-wheel electric models: 7FBCU15 through 7FBCU55, 30-prefix dust-proof versions, high-capacity-battery 7FBCHU25 variants, plus 7FBEU15, 7FBEU18, 7FBEU20, and 7FBEHU18. Separate procedures address 15–32 versus 35–55 controller, motor, drive-unit, and axle arrangements, along with the 7FBEU AC driver system.
-
Gasoline and diesel truck coverage: 7FGU/7FDU15–32 with 7FGCU20–32; 7FGCU15, 7FGCU18, and 7FGCSU20; and 7FGU/7FDU35–80 with 7FGCU35–70. The model tables identify 4Y gasoline, 1DZ-II diesel, G4/GM6-262 gasoline, and 13Z diesel applications before the correct repair section is selected.
-
Electrical diagnosis and repair: controller-board inspection, traveling and material-handling controllers, AC drivers, contactor panels, multi-display diagnosis, error-code and no-code fault tracing, steering and SAS troubleshooting, plug-in analyzer functions, tuning, option setting, tire-constant setup, and SAS matching. Battery inspection and charger timer tests are included where applicable.
-
Drivetrain, steering, and brake procedures: drive- and pump-motor removal, inspection, and reassembly; electric drive-unit and differential teardown; torque-converter, transmission, clutch-drum, propeller-shaft, and axle repair; steering-gear service; brake disassembly, bleeding, force checks, and pedal adjustments.
-
Mast, cylinder, hydraulic, and SAS work: V, FV, FSV, and QFV mast removal and adjustment, lift-bracket and roller service, lift- and tilt-cylinder overhaul, oil-pump performance testing, control-valve rebuilding and relief-pressure adjustment, plus sensor replacement and matching for yaw-rate, tilt-angle, load, speed, and mast-height inputs.
-
Diagrams, test references, and SST data: SAS and non-SAS wiring diagrams, 15–32 and 35–55 connector/connecting drawings, CPU and DC/MD board connector views, hydraulic circuit diagrams, control-valve sectional views, and engine sectional views. The appendices add service-standard lists, torque and wear data, and SST references including Toyota electrical tester 09082-00050 and AC controller diagnosis kits 09230-13130-71 and 09230-21440-71.
Six PDFs, separated by truck family
The set contains 669 pages for the 7FB10–30/7FBH10–25/7FBJ35 Volumes 1 and 2 file; 572 pages for 7FGU/7FDU15–32 and 7FGCU20–32; 432 pages for 7FGCU15–18 and 7FGCSU20; 596 pages for 7FGU/7FDU35–80 and 7FGCU35–70; 915 pages for 7FBCU15–55/7FBCHU25 Volumes 1 and 2; and 564 pages for 7FBEU15–20/7FBEHU18 Volumes 1 and 2. Each PDF keeps its own section index, so the correct electrical, drivetrain, or material-handling chapter can be opened without working through unrelated truck families. For parts and test selection, the electric model tables separate the 48-volt 7FB10–25-family trucks from the 80-volt 7FB30/7FBJ35, the 36-volt 7FBCU range, and the 36/48-volt 7FBEU configurations.
Important scope boundaries
The internal-combustion manuals cover engine removal, installation, cooling, fuel-system bleeding, speed adjustment, and related chassis interfaces, but they direct full engine repair to separate publications: CE602-1 for the 4Y, CE618-1 for the 1DZ-II, C4630 for the G4/GM6-262, and C4615 for the 11Z–14Z family. Those engine-overhaul manuals are not part of this six-PDF set. The dates in the forewords identify the publication state of each manual; they should not be read as blanket forklift model-year coverage.
The repair cautions are specific. Electric-controller sections warn that omitted insulating sheets can damage TMD/TMP devices or cause contactor failure, while hydraulic sections caution that careless relief adjustment can generate damaging pressure in the oil pump and related components. Battery isolation, supported masts and loads, released hydraulic pressure, brake safety, and approved lifting practices remain mandatory throughout service work.
