Diagnostic flowcharts isolate overheating, low charge pressure, mistracking, loss of full travel speed, low power, one-direction or one-track failures, and controller calibration faults. Special-tool references name the ST4920 and DFT1087 track recoil-spring fixtures, DFT1132 hydrostatic motor/hydraulic pump tool, JT07329 test-harness kit, and JT07349 transmission-controller test box. Scope Limits and Service Cautions
Machine-level engine coverage includes removal and installation, fuel-system bleeding, injection-pump dynamic timing, fuel testing, and turbocharger boost testing. Internal base-engine and fuel-system repair is cross-referenced to CTM104, CTM207, and CTM331, while alternator/starting-motor repair is directed to CTM77. Winch overhaul, 120 Series cylinder service, Service Advisor connection information, and additional undercarriage-appraisal guidance are assigned to CTM166, TM-H120A, T133991, and SP326; those separate publications are not included in this three-PDF set.
The repair procedures flag two easy-to-miss assembly hazards: incorrect charge-pump eccentric-ring/alignment-pin orientation can cut off charge oil and damage the hydrostatic pump, while incorrect seating of the hydraulic-reservoir cleanout inner plate can damage its locator tabs and cover assembly. Track recoil springs, raised equipment, pressurized hydraulic circuits, heavy components, released park brakes, and refrigerant service require the blocking, pressure-release, lifting, and R134a handling precautions specified in the manuals.
