There are several details worth noting before repair work. The rear bottom-cushion hex bolts require 12.5 ft-lbf (17 N·m); incorrect tightening can allow the retaining dials to loosen and the cushions to come free. Toyota specifies ATF WS for the automatic transmission and warns that other fluid can cause deteriorating shift quality, vibration or lockup, and eventual transmission damage. Wheel bolts and nuts must not be oiled or greased, and the tapered ends of the nuts must face inward; incorrect installation can damage the wheel or fasteners and may allow the wheel to loosen.
