2007 Cub Cadet I-Series 46/50-Inch Zero-Turn Tractor Shop Manual (P/N 769-03231)

Steering, Neutral Adjustment and Wheel Alignment

Cam-slot adjustment uses gauge block 753-05437. Gearbox removal, replacement and linkage setup are covered; internal steering gearbox overhaul is outside this manual's scope. Pivot-bar, axle, tie-rod and steering-gear procedures address the rest of the front-end assembly.

Separate belt-routing drawings identify the 46- and 50-inch decks. Their rear-roller adjustment sections distinguish the different mounting arrangements, while side-to-side and front-to-rear leveling procedures reference Cub Cadet gauge 490-900-0041.

Spindles are serviced as complete assemblies, with only the pulley individually replaceable. The manual warns that excessive greasing can force a bearing out of its housing and ruin the spindle.
