Installing an optional board or connecting internal cables while AC power remains connected can damage the SC or SPC board, even with the power switch off. Work around the high-voltage imaging system requires the manufacturer's electrical-safety precautions during diagnosis or repair.

Regional Parts and Assembly Drawings

Exploded views pair numbered components with parts tables and destination codes. Regional SC-board listings support matching a replacement board to both the machine model and market. The parts section also identifies ADF/i-ADF components, paper-feed assemblies, fax options, and the optional hard disk; an alphanumeric parts index supports part-number lookup.

Selected Calibration, Power, and Drum-Service Data

A few examples illustrate the handbook's technical data. Printer registration uses a 5 mm test-pattern gap from the paper edge, with Ledger or A3 paper specified for the illustrated check.

The F6 side-to-side and lead-to-tail 100% read adjustments use 0.1% increments for scan-size calibration.

The 220 VAC configuration has a specified maximum power consumption below 1.3 kW.

For the OPC drum, the maintenance checklist gives a 60,000-sheet replacement guideline, based on the module counter and recommended paper and supplies. Paper size, orientation, print duty, operating pattern, and ambient conditions can change that interval.
