Repair Cautions and Scope
The manual flags several easy-to-miss damage risks. Turning off the main switch before shutdown with the panel Power key can damage the hard disk. During transfer-belt repair, the belt must clear its sensor, the left-eject actuator and light-shielding plate are damage-prone, and the fuser must be refitted without trapping the transfer-belt wire.
The accessory booklets are installation guides, not full repair manuals for those options. The main repair chapter focuses on module removal/refitting and post-replacement setup; PWB coverage provides signals and checks rather than component-level board repair.
Disconnect wall power before disassembly and follow the factory warnings for high-voltage sections, laser optics, ESD-sensitive PWBs, and the hot fuser. Powered checks belong only in qualified service hands under the specified procedure.
