Brake fluid is scheduled for replacement every two years and the brake hose every four years; the air cleaner is called out for cleaning every 3,000 km/2,000 miles.
Engine repair depth goes well beyond routine service. The factory manual covers engine removal and remounting, crankcase separation, crankshaft and connecting-rod inspection, bearing and oil-seal replacement, cylinder and piston measurement, piston-ring and reed-valve checks, transmission and final-drive service, automatic clutch inspection, movable drive/driven-face repair, kick-starter repair, starter pinion service, oil-pump installation, intake-pipe work, and magneto removal and installation. The carburetor section identifies the KEEWAY-WENLING PZ19JB unit with a 19 mm throat, #80 main jet, #57.5 pilot jet, third-groove needle position, and 13+/-1 mm float height.

Repair cautions are component-specific. The kick-starter nut uses a left-hand thread, and the clutch shoe assembly is specifically not to be disassembled because the clutch shoe can be damaged. Keeway warns against driving the crankshaft into the crankcase with a hammer because crankshaft alignment accuracy can be affected. The rear-brake section also warns that excess grease on the cam can contaminate the lining and reduce braking effectiveness.
Electrical, Chassis, and Diagram Coverage
Electrical diagnosis covers the flywheel magneto, combined CDI/ignition-coil unit, spark testing, magneto exciting coil, charging and lighting circuits, regulator/rectifier, starter motor and starter relay, fuel-level meter and sender, oil-level warning circuit, switches, and YB4L-B 12 V 4 Ah battery.
