The manual flags several easy ways to create a second repair: grooved camber/caster adjustment bolts must be held stationary or the cradle and bushing “bat wings” can be damaged, and similar-looking AWD, RWD, and SRT8 suspension parts are not automatically interchangeable. The two-piece rear propeller shaft must also remain supported during removal; letting it hang can damage the couplers or center bearing and cause driveline vibration.
Use the specified hoist locations and properly rated support equipment. Coil-spring, brake-hydraulic, fuel, refrigerant, and restraint-system work requires the correct tools and the isolation procedures given in the manual.
