This is repair documentation, not an owner's handbook or a basic automotive course. The foreword places equipment operation in the Owner's Manual and theory in service-training material.
Engine, Fuel, and Emissions Procedures
The two engine chapters cover compression and combustion-leakage testing, head-gasket and intake-leak diagnosis, engine oil-pressure and leakage checks, cylinder-head repair, valve service, camshafts, timing chains and sprockets, crankshafts, pistons and rings, oil pumps, seals, and bearing selection.
