42RLE filling: The capacity chart distinguishes a 3.8 L (8.0 pt) service fill from an 8.3 L (17.6 pt) overhaul fill. Actual dry-fill requirements can vary with cooler configuration and lines.

Hydraulic test data: The specified 42RLE low/reverse test lists 115–145 psi with the selector in L, first gear, an indicated 20 mph during the hoist-based test, and fluid at 150–200°F.
