Engine procedures are separated for the SOHC 4G64 inline-four and SOHC 6G72 V6, while ECM paths for manual-transaxle vehicles are distinguished from PCM paths for automatic-transaxle vehicles. The automatic-transaxle material also separates Sport Mode and non-Sport Mode circuits. Diagnostic sections tie connector numbers and terminal views to the circuit, harness, component-location, and splice diagrams rather than leaving electrical tests as stand-alone specifications.

The repair cautions are assembly-specific. During engine removal, the manual warns that removing the identified flywheel mounting bolt can throw the flywheel out of balance and damage it. In the automatic-transaxle overhaul, removing the valve body before the manual-control-lever nut can damage the park/neutral position switch.
