Rear-axle procedures separate 8.6-, 9.5-, 9.75-, 10.5-, and 10.75-inch assemblies. The applicable chapters supply fastener torque tables, pinion-depth and preload/backlash data, shim specifications, fluid capacities, refrigerant information, electrical test values, and body repair dimensions.

Factory Procedures, Tools, and Repair Cautions

The driveline chapters include component and disassembled views alongside inspection and setup work, rather than stopping at basic removal and replacement. The remaining manuals are 2008, 414 pages, P/N 15861876 A; 2009, 410 pages, P/N 25780708 B; and 2011, 422 pages, P/N 25953303 A. From 2006 forward, the owner manuals direct Duramax-specific starting, fuel, oil, cooling, and maintenance information to a separate diesel supplement; that supplement is not part of this set.

This package does not provide continuous 2003-2010 Express repair coverage. Its Express/Savana shop content consists primarily of 3,000 pages labeled for the 2009 AWD VIN G/H service manual, plus 103 pages of 2003 instrument-panel and interior-trim material.
