John Deere technical manual TM1491 covers the 1988–1999 GX70, GX75, GX85, SX85, GX95, SRX75, and SRX95 riding mowers. This July 1999 revision replaces the January 1997 edition.

These clearances are a small sample of the adjustment specifications in the manual.

For GX70, GX75, GX85, and GX95 models, the brake-adjustment section specifies 0.13 mm (0.005 in.) between the outer brake pad and brake disk.

The corresponding adjustment clearance for SX85, SRX75, and SRX95 models is 0.38 mm (0.015 in.).
