Cadillac SRX 2004–2008 Service & Repair Manual Collection

The repair chapters provide system-specific procedures, while the wiring volumes support circuit tracing and the owner manuals explain controls, routine care, and maintenance.

Coverage varies by year. The 2004 material has the deepest mechanical repair coverage. The 2005 and 2006 groups contain owner manuals and selected repair chapters; the 2007 engine files focus on specifications and troubleshooting. The 2008 reference appears in the background sheet, without a dedicated 2008 repair volume.

Search and wiring detail: Most repair chapters and both owner manuals contain searchable text. Twenty PDFs have no searchable text, including the 2004 and 2005 wiring volumes. In the 2007 wiring PDF, headings and captions are searchable, but diagram labels are not. Embedded bookmarks are provided only in the two owner manuals. Small labels in the sampled wiring diagrams require zooming.

The following is a selection of included topics, rather than a complete contents list. Other examples include horn diagnosis and garage-door-opener programming.

Transmission coverage extends to clutch packs, sprags, the fluid pump, valve bodies, and pressure testing. Rear-differential procedures include pinion-depth, backlash, and bearing-preload adjustment; front-axle information addresses diagnosis, seals, and related service.

Separate repair excerpts cover drive belts, timing chains and guides, the timing cover, rear shock components, front brakes, front wheel-bearing replacement, fluid service, fuel and EVAP filters, and vehicle lifting. The 2004 LY7 engine specifications list camshaft journal-to-bore clearance as 0.040–0.084 mm. Crankshaft end play is specified at 0.100–0.330 mm, alongside the dimensional data used for internal engine inspection.
