The AF23-5 service excerpt warns that removing the top-side third-gear anchor-band bolt can dislocate internal parts and force transaxle removal and disassembly. The steering/SIR material also calls out correct coil centering; misalignment can damage the coil and cause an inflatable-restraint malfunction.

Brake hydraulics, SIR components, refrigerant systems, and major powertrain assemblies require the article-specific disabling, containment, lifting, and recovery precautions. Use the specified equipment and follow those safety notices before beginning repair work.
