Engine Variants and Parts Identification

The description-code table assigns GJAKM (AL) and GJANM (FC) to GCV520, and GJAJM (AL) and GJAMM (FC) to GCV530.

QEA1 uses AL cylinders without an oil pump or filter. QEA3 has FC sleeves, a fuel pump, and 18A charging. QXA4 and QRA4 also use FC sleeves but have two-lever controls; QRA4 adds recoil starting. The other three types use 3A charging.

Separate cylinder and piston identification views help match AL and FC parts before an overhaul. These components are not interchangeable between the two cylinder configurations.

Internal Engine Repair and Inspection
