Between 1985 to 1997, the Yamaha Motor Company developed a motorcycle called the Yamaha SRX. No need to be confused with the Yamaha Sidewinder SRX which is a snowmobile.
Yamaha SRX600 snowmobile's machine identification is defined with frame serial number and engine serial number. The frame serial number is located on the right-hand side of the frame. And the engine serial number is located on the right-hand side of the crankcase.
Sheave gauge is used to measure the sheave distance and for offset adjustment. A dial gauge is used for run out measurement. A fuel level gauge is used to measure the fuel level in the float chamber. An adjusting screwdriver is used to adjust the damping force in the front suspension. These all steps are used to tune up the Yamaha SRX600 snowmobile.
A piston pin puller is used to remove the piston pin. The rotor holding tool is used to remove the starter pulley. The rotor holding puller removes the magneto rotor and the cooling system tester checks the cooling system. These steps are followed for engine service.
For power train service, primary sheave holder hold the primary sheave, sheave puller remove primary sheave, clutch spider separator and clutch separator adaptor disassemble and assemble the primary sheave, clutch bushing jig kit removes and installs primary sheave bushing, clutch bushing press removes and installs the post bushings and track clip installer installs the track clip.
For carburation service, the mity vac is used to check the fuel pump. A pocket tester is necessary for checking the electrical components. An Electro tester is used to check the electrical system.
