Widetrak cooling: Surge-tank hose connections, pressure-cap operation, water-pump belt tension, and cooling-system bleeding are documented. The water-pump impeller, seals, and shaft are not serviceable; the belt, pulley, O-ring, cover castings, and cover gasket are replaceable.

Mikuni Fuel-System Diagnosis

The Throttle Opening and Fuel Flow chart connects running symptoms to the carburetor circuits active at different throttle openings. This helps distinguish a pilot-circuit problem from a main-jet issue before selecting replacement jets.

Clutch Calibration and Repair Precautions

The PVT section distinguishes TEAM driven clutches from the Widetrak roller-driven design. Alignment-tool references separate standard TEAM tool PS-46998 from lightweight TEAM tool PS-47477.

Opening a TEAM driven clutch while it is in reverse can damage the clutch and the L wrench. TEAM installations require jackshaft float to avoid bearing side-loading, while the Widetrak roller-driven clutch uses a different washer arrangement and does not float.

Follow the manual's safety procedures around the rotating track, spring-loaded clutches, and hydraulic brakes.

Suspension Setup and Chassis Work
