Factory Accuracy Calibration is tied to banding diagnosis and to service work involving the feed roller, paper-axis motor drive, or encoder disc. A separate table identifies which replacement parts require Media Advance Calibration, PRS Calibration, and Printhead Alignment, and in what order. It covers the platen, rollers, paper guides, carriage belt, bypass hardware, carriage, ink tubes, pivot assembly, electronics module, and disk encoder. The manual warns that this calibration affects banding performance across all media types, so it is not a casual trial adjustment.
