On the rear suspension, the right swingarm pivot bolt is specified at only 4 N·m (2.9 lb-ft) while its pivot locknut is 118 N·m (87 lb-ft); confusing those two values can overload the pivot and bearing stack. The FM/FE differential and rear final drive are also sensitive to bearing seating and ring-and-pinion backlash, where an incorrect setup can produce gear noise, heat, and rapid wear.
