Documented System Assemblies
The manual separates the machine into the gas engine, diesel engine, electrical system, power train, steering, brakes, and chassis/body service. The drive system is a CVT with a gear-driven transaxle, using Forward HI, Forward LO, Neutral, and Reverse. Clutch engagement is specified at 1350 rpm and disengagement at 1250 rpm. Transaxle capacity is 4.0 L (4.25 qt) for 4x2 machines and 4.5 L (4.8 qt) for 4x4 machines, with Low Viscosity HY-GARD meeting JDM J20C. The valve-adjustment procedure specifies 0.20 mm (0.008 in.), while injector opening pressure is 11722 ± 480 kPa (1700 ± 70 psi). Starting-motor and 40-amp alternator repair are covered as well.

On the diesel engine, loosening the injection-pump camshaft gear bolts alters pump timing; when the pump is removed for service or replacement, the manual specifies a new 0.8 mm shim between the pump and housing. In the CVT, the primary drive clutch is specifically not to be lubricated, and overtorquing the lower swing-arm pivot bolts can damage the bushing and reduce swing-arm flexibility.
For the diesel fuel system, the publication sets a clear scope boundary: fast idle is manufacturer-set and not adjustable, and an injection pump or governor requiring repair is handled as a complete assembly rather than through an internal pump overhaul.
