A Preview of Valve-Clearance and Oil-Pressure Data

These values are a small sample of the inspection specifications included in the engine-service sections.

For all three models, cold valve clearance is 0.10–0.15 mm at the intake and 0.15–0.20 mm at the exhaust.

The oil-pressure test specifies at least 1.0 bar at 1,600 rpm with the engine oil at approximately 100°C. Bypass-valve guidance also explains how spring length and seal-ring thickness affect opening pressure.
