Parts Identification and Repair Scope

Illustrations connect item numbers to factory part numbers, descriptions, and quantities. That distinction helps you identify the smallest listed replacement assembly before ordering parts for a repair.

Vehicle identification uses the model and complete serial number from the vehicle plate, illustrated in BODY, page C-1, item 34. The introduction explains that component revisions can overlap, so the installed configuration matters when selecting an illustration.

This is a parts catalog. It does not provide step-by-step repair procedures, engine-overhaul instructions, torque tables, or diagnostic test sequences. The introduction refers repair work to a separate Technician’s Repair and Service Manual. Brake, steering, and electrical work requires the appropriate service procedures.

Fuel and Steering Variant Details

The fuel section separates the standard layout from the California-emissions arrangement, including different fuel-filter and tubing entries. Carburetor listings distinguish altitude-specific main jets and SWB/MWB choke cables.

ST Sport II CARB entries identify a low dipstick and a separate steering assembly. The steering section also distinguishes left- and right-hand-thread tie-rod ends and jam nuts. Forcing mismatched thread types can damage the mating hardware.

Named steering views include “Steering Shaft and Column,” “Rack, Bellows and Tensioner,” and “Idler, Tie Rods and Mounting.” Front and rear suspension listings cover heavy-duty leaf springs, flanged bushings, and shock absorbers.

Hardware descriptions identify thread sizes and lengths, including M6, M8, and M10 fasteners, alongside cotter pins, lock nuts, and washers.

Electrical Connections, Cab, and Load-Bed Equipment

Electrical illustrations show component connections and wire-color callouts. “Taillight” distinguishes connections for vehicles with and without turn signals; “Fuse Block” and “Starter/Generator Mounting” provide additional identification views. These are component and connection illustrations, not a complete vehicle wiring schematic or electrical troubleshooting guide.

Seat bottom and seat back assemblies have separate component listings. Cab and weather-protection sections identify wiper, strobe, worklight, and enclosure hardware; the listed full and folding windshield kits require a sun top kit.

The “Truck Bed 350” section includes latch, gas-spring, and electric-dump components. Winch pages cover the T1500 assembly, remote solenoid, harnesses, and internal replacement parts. Several cab, direction-selector, and winch entries retain ST 350 application labels; check those individual descriptions when matching equipment.

Appendix A lists the drive-clutch puller 19779G2, flywheel puller 27111G01, and digital multimeter 27481G01. These are tool part-number references, without instructions for performing the associated service work.
