The engine chapters follow the machine well beyond external service. Fuel, ABS, and Electrical Diagnosis
The PGM-FI section is built around diagnosis as well as component replacement. It gives the system layout and connector locations before moving into DTC readout and erasure, fail-safe behavior, individual sensor circuits, MIL troubleshooting, and ECM-side inspection. Fuel-line quick-connect work, pressure relief and normalization, pump and relay checks, and injector and throttle-body procedures are kept with the related test information.
For the CBR250RA, the manual does not treat ABS as a short supplement. The dedicated chapter maps the connectors and hydraulic components, explains problem-code readout and erasure, and traces ABS-indicator and wheel-speed-sensor faults. The electrical chapters separately cover battery testing, current leakage, charging voltage, alternator output, regulator/rectifier checks, ignition peak-voltage testing, starter-motor and relay inspection, combination-meter functions, switches, lighting, and fuel-level and vehicle-speed sensors. Chassis Work and Repair Cautions

Standard and ABS brake systems receive distinct fluid-filling, bleeding, and front-caliper procedures, which matters when choosing the correct repair path for an R or RA model.
The crankcase assembly pages warn against forcing the case halves together because misalignment can damage the oil-seal lips. Main-journal bearing inserts must remain in their original locations or be selected by the factory code system; mixing them can produce incorrect oil clearance and engine damage. For engine, wheel, suspension, fuel, or hydraulic-brake work, support the motorcycle securely and follow the manual's fuel-pressure and brake-fluid precautions before disassembly.
