Early SR-80 SEA 00100-00144 machines use non-current bucket/tilt cylinders with a distinct port style. The parts manual warns that current and non-current cylinders will not function properly as a mixed pair, so replacement requires matching cylinders. The idler-hub procedure states that center-seal removal destroys the seal, and the SR-70 arrangement omits the retaining ring shown for the SR-80; reuse or incorrect assembly can compromise the hub. Hydraulic-cylinder service likewise depends on correct seal and piston-ring orientation, with fresh hydraulic oil used during assembly to prevent seal damage.
