Two manual-specific repair traps deserve attention. Interrupting main power while the HDD is being accessed can cause an E602 fault or data loss, while applying power during initial installation before the fixing-assembly release cover is removed can damage the fixing heater. Board and drive repair requires the specified shutdown and power isolation, and the laser unit is not intended for field adjustment.
