The corrosion chapters then carry the repair through primer application, seam sealing, underbody coating, cavity wax, and treatment of enclosed rails, pillars, side sills, wheel housings, doors, hood, and tail gate.

Structural body repair involves SRS components, electronic control modules, cutting, welding, heat, and temporary support of load-bearing sections. Follow the manual’s SRS and electronic-component precautions and use a qualified collision technician when the repair exceeds your training or equipment.
