Husqvarna calls for the connecting-rod pin to be checked and cleaned every time the engine is dismantled; the troubleshooting section also links small- or big-end seizure to hard-start/no-start conditions. During engine reassembly, deformable sealing washers, oil retainers, gaskets, and self-locking nuts are specified for renewal rather than reuse, reducing the risk of leakage or loss of fastener retention.
