It specifically warns against magnetic tools and unprotected wire on precision valve parts because the sliding surfaces can be scratched. Line-pressure and stall testing place the drivetrain under load and expose hot, pressurized ATF. The vehicle must be secured and the factory test precautions followed before carrying out those procedures.
