This is a cumulative Yamaha factory publication, not a single generic chapter set. The FJ1100L/LC manual supplies the core repair coverage, while each FJ1200 supplement is intended to be used with the earlier books for unchanged procedures. That matters when working across this model family: the supplements isolate the revised bodywork, engine data, chassis parts, wiring, and service checks without duplicating the full base manual.
The identification pages give starting engine numbers 50H-000101 and 47M-000101 for the FJ1100L/LC, 1UX-000101 and 1WJ-000101 for the FJ1200S/SC, 3SK-000101 and 3SK-008101 for the FJ1200W/WC, and 4AH-000101 and 4AH-003101 for the FJ1200B/BC. Those references, together with the starting VIN tables, make it easier to select the correct supplement before ordering parts or beginning a repair.
