Coverage must be read by section. Park Avenue appears in the 1998–99 engine and transmission references, but not as blanket coverage for every body or electrical chapter. 3.8L Engine and Automatic Transmission Repair

The 3.8L engine section covers 1998–99 C, F, G, H, and W body applications. It identifies the VIN K L36 SFI engine and VIN 1 L67 supercharged engine, including the supercharger’s role as the upper intake assembly. The torque-converter seal must be loaded onto its dedicated installer before entering the case to avoid seal damage.
