Maximum lateral runout for the front and rear brake discs is 0.008 in on XL models and XR 1200, compared with 0.006 in on XR 1200X.

Spark-plug gap is 0.038–0.043 in on XL models and 0.032–0.038 in on XR models. Fuel-system fastener data includes 40–45 in-lbs for the fuel-pump module mounting screws.
