Engine variants: Single-cylinder Intek versions are 31P677 with pressure lubrication and an oil filter, and 31P707 with oil-slinger lubrication. The V-Twin section distinguishes engine 441677 with a single-barrel carburetor from 445577/445877 with two-barrel carburetors.

Internal engine repair includes cylinder-bore honing and resizing, valve-seat work, connecting-rod checks, camshaft timing, and starter-motor overhaul. Inspection data cover cylinder-bore dimensions, ring end gaps, bearing clearances, and valve wear.
