Toro's factory service manual covers the 2002–2011 Workman 1100, 1110, 2100, and 2110 utility vehicles. Publication P/N 02110SL, Rev. D, includes revisions through 2007.

Engine Coverage and Repair Limits

The engine specifications identify the Briggs & Stratton 303440 V-twin for Workman 2100/2110 and the Kohler CH12 PA-941521 single-cylinder engine for Workman 1100/1110.

Engine coverage focuses on external service and removal/installation. The separately linked Briggs & Stratton V-twin repair manual and Kohler COMMAND PRO CS Series service manual are not included in this PDF. Routine maintenance schedules are referenced to the separate Operator's Manual.

Clutch, Transaxle, and Governor Variants

Beyond the engine bay, the manual breaks down the operation and repair of the variable clutch system. The Transaxle Service exploded view and assembly illustrations identify internal gear sets, differential components, and axle shaft assemblies.

Ground-speed checks distinguish transaxle-governed machines from engine-governed Workman 2100/2110 units above S/N 240000000. Shift-cable adjustments also distinguish levers with and without a neutral position.

Special tools include clutch remover TOR4094 and spider-removal kit TOR4098. The clutch repair instructions warn that uneven pressure on the cam towers during spider removal can damage them.

Brake and Chassis Repair by Model

Workman 1100/2100 have mechanically actuated rear brakes, with separate adjustment procedures below and above S/N 230000000. Workman 1110/2110 have hydraulic brakes; front-caliper service changes below and above S/N 240000000.

These distinctions help match brake components and repair procedures to the vehicle before disassembly.

Starter/generator repair notes explain why emery cloth can cause short circuits between the commutator bars.
