The 14 lettered sections begin with VIN identification, lubricants, scheduled maintenance, trim, and controls, then progress through chassis, wheels, fuel, exhaust, engine, gearbox, final drive, and electrical repair.

Engine coverage follows the 1064 cc, 90-degree V-twin from removal of the engine/gearbox assembly through lubrication, heads and timing, cylinder/piston grading, clutch, alternator and flywheel, crankshaft, and connecting rods. Inspection tables address valve/guide matching, valve-spring checks, camshaft and tappet clearances, piston/cylinder selection, bearing fits, and crankshaft balancing. The grading data separates engines through KD030428 from KD030429 onward.

The five-speed gearbox section includes removal, bench disassembly, gear, shaft, bearing, and seal inspection, primary-shaft and selector-drum shimming, range-selector setup, reassembly, and gear-selection checks.
