Engine Repair and Valve Timing

Cylinder-head repair extends to valve seats, guides, rocker arms, and camshaft supports. Bottom-end work includes piston/cylinder size matching, connecting-rod bearing selection, crankshaft inspection, and crankcase bearing replacement.

Timing checks: The DDS optical belt-tension procedure works with the engine installed, helping technicians plan belt service without removing the engine. Tool references include crankshaft TDC lock 88713.2011, pulley timing tool 88765.1609, and valve-lift gauge 88765.1518.
