Transmission Variants and Assembly Details

The transmission chapters distinguish overdrive, splitter and super-creep arrangements, including versions with and without a lubrication pump. Rear PTO sections cover the different speed-selection and ground-speed configurations rather than treating every gearbox as identical.

PTO clutch instructions include cup-spring preload measurement and lock-washer selection. Turboclutch coverage distinguishes assemblies with and without a freewheel and explains the rotation check used to detect reversed freewheel installation.

The gearbox assembly instructions also identify a specific damage risk: incorrect positioning of the pinion-shaft washer can break off its locating lug.

These tests connect symptoms with checks of the hydraulic supply, control valve, wiring and sensors, giving the technician a structured basis for deciding which area needs further investigation.

Servostat coverage includes pressure, circulation and internal-leakage tests, plus different steering-cylinder procedures for rear-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive tractors. The digital-indicator chapter adds inductive-sensor tests and coding instructions for a replacement electronics box.

Selected Clutch, Mounting and Hydraulic Specifications

The driving-clutch test specifies 8.5–9.5 mm of slave-cylinder release travel. For six-cylinder tractors, the front axle bracket installation specifies a maximum remaining gap of 0.15 mm between the bracket and oil sump after shim selection.

The fluid table lists 26 liters for the hydraulic system with a front loader. These examples accompany component-specific checking, fitting and filling information throughout the manual.
