Electrical coverage distinguishes DT50M electronic spark advance from the mechanical advance systems used on the other base models. CDI checking charts, coil-resistance specifications, and later peak-voltage tests support ignition fault isolation.

Sample Reed-Valve and Ignition-Coil Specifications

A few examples from the base DT50/DT65 sections show the component-level inspection and electrical data provided in the manual.

Reed-stop opening is 7.6–8.0 mm for the DT50 and 7.55–7.95 mm for the DT65. Both have a reed-to-seat clearance limit of 0.2 mm.

For the DT50M, ignition-coil primary resistance is 0.28–0.38 ohm at 20°C, measured between the white/black lead and ground. Other models have separate coil-test specifications.
