Model and Serial Coverage

The configuration chapter distinguishes the 6130N PDL machine from the 6125N GDI machine. The 6130 accepts optional memory and a Multi-Protocol Network Card, while additional memory is unavailable for the 6125. The serial reference decodes Xerox's nine-character PPPRSSSSS format. HAT identifies a 6130 110 V engine, HAR a 6130V 220 V engine, LAN a 6125 110 V engine, and LAL a 6125V 220 V engine. The theory section follows the tandem electrophotographic process from Bias Charge Roller charging and four-diode Raster Output Scanner exposure through development, direct transfer, drum cleaning, waste-toner collection, and Free Belt Nip Fusing.
